shhh, the baby is sleeping

so, we have plans for going to Florida next weekend. It is a bit sooner than planned.
I read from Judy's blog, that grandmother is on hospice after being told she had a while. My heart is breaking. I have known some people who have died, however it never really affected me. Maybe because we are related.
My father says they don't think she'll make it past this weekend. But Robert is unable to take leave on short notice and grandparents do not count for emergency leave. If she does not make it through the week, then I hope having Lily around the family will make things a little better.
Grandma is someone who could not see bad in anything, she always had a smile and something nice to say. I know, we all know, those are the people who are usually the saddest. I am sure during this whole ordeal, she remained positive.
Since this is the first time in a while I have been able to post, I am going to have a lot to say. Lily is sleeping for now...
I just finished a card front swap and should recieve the other swaps this weekend.
I think I might bring some crafting stuff with me to Florida to share with Judy.
Liz can't come with us because she does not have the money and can't take the time off. In addition, she loves to talk about "familiarity breeding contempt" and frankly being stuck in a car for 13 hours, I might commit homocide... LOL. But, since she quit her second job, she can stay at the house and watch the dogs, which relieves us from paying for kennel fees and the boys don't like going to the vet if they don't have to. Plus she gets to get away from her place for a while and use a kitchen and have a clean house. We just have to tell her how to take the boys out. Since we installed the storm door and have new neighbors with a dog, our dogs are ummm, a bit wierd. We have to encourage them to go potty and if they don't, they go back into their room. We have learned that they will go in the house
The house is still for sale... big surprise there... LOL. But we are not stressing it. We have a very small mortgage and our house is fine. We just wanted to have a detached home closer to work. We decided we won't lower the price again unless Rob has orders out of the area and we need to sell. But, that probably won't happen.
Some things I am looking forward to when we go to Florida are the warm beaches and seeing family. I have some family from my father's side that live in the same town. We are staying in base lodging while we are there. It only costs $27 a night. I think some of the rooms have internet, if ours does not, it is not a big deal. We can always use my parents... LOL. Can't go without my facebook and coastie chicks

Just a brief update

well, it has been a while since I last posted.
Our home is on the market! We hope it sells soon. The main reason why we are moving is because of Lily. We want more space.
Here are some of the homes we are looking at. However, we have decided to wait until we get a contract until we really start looking.
We really wanted to get the Cape Lookout, but we are worried about the timing. The builder won't start building it until we have a contract on our home and then it could take about 4 months. And what if the new owners want to move in right away. We are in a good school system.
so, onto other things

Lily is 4 months! She had her well baby check up and weighs 14 pounds and 15 ounces and is 25 inches long. She is growing so fast. She has started cereal which she seems to enjoy.

Here is a photo of Morgan, Lily, and Bishop

And I found some old photos of me and I guess Lily does favor me.

cracka lacka

oh blah
That is how I am feeling
I really need to find a job that is challenging. One of the supervisors basically confirmed it... he said "I don't want to call her our Kinko's girl", but that is what I am
Rob and I have been busy getting the house ready to put on the market. We donated a lot of clothes and threw out some junk that ended up in our neighbors' possesion.
We are thinking that if we get a decent amount on the house, we could get a larger house. We plan on paying off some bills and putting a nice down payment on the house.
Think Lily does not do well with me drinking milk. She had some terrible cramps and the only thing I could think of was that I had a glass of milk the night before. So, no more milk for a while. I guess I will get some rice milk for cereal.
If we can manage, we might go see Transformers this weekend.

Call The Bomb Squad

My weekend was pretty quiet and nice.
On Saturday, I held my first scrapbook camp. Only my sister and a lady I met on the CC forum showed up. I am guessing because it is the end of the school year that a lot of people had things going on. I will try to having something once a month, however, I don't think many people will start coming until after school starts. I think the holiday classes might get some business with people wanting to make Christmas cards.
Lily is laughing a lot lately. We think we found her spot. Rob had her laughing for a good while yesterday and because she was laughing, he was laughing so hard. And after she fell asleep, he said he could not wait until today to make her laugh again.
I don't know what I have eaten, but she has some explosive poops lately. The poop goes up the back of her diaper and on to her clothes. Yesterday, it leaked onto me.
Yesterday, we toured the Cape Lookout. It had the drywall up only, but we were able to get an idea of how it is going to look. We are excited about that. I also cleaned our bathroom. That was a project in itself. Today, I shall attempt the other bathroom.

Less Than Three

Well, it is Friday! Yay!

Tomorrow, I am hosting my first class. We are doing a scrapbook page with a matching card. It is going to be a beach scene with a sand castle and some shells. We are doing something easy because scrapbooking can be so intimidating. If we have time, we may do a Father's Day spread as well. I will cut the paper and everything just in case. This time, it is free just to see how well I can do it. As I gain more confidence and more people show an interest, I may charge a fee for supplies or ask if they want to do a club thing. We shall see

My sweet Lily is growing so fast.
So, I learned something new the other day. I was always wanting to know why people would type less than three... I guess because it looks like a sideways heart... <3

wishing the whistle would blow

I am having an "off" day today. I forgot my badge/CAC at home and did not realize until I was dropping Lily off at the sitter's. I figured I could still get on base with dependant ID. Well right before I get to the gate, I realize the dependant ID is not going to help me with my work. I need the CAC to log onto the computer. So, 40 minutes later, I am back at work.
And then some co-workers wanted to have lunch, so I was going to meet them after I nursed Lily. I am almost at the spot, when traffic stops because of an accident when I realize, I was not going where I needed to go. D'oh! I finally made it and enjoyed some good sushi.
Liz wants to go to a Korean resturant tonight. That will be nice. And then tomorrow, I have my card swap. I am leaving Lily with Rob this time. Last time she wanted to be held and I don't want to confine her to her carseat. Besides, I should be able to do things too.
I am still in awe about being a mother. I can't believe my little girl will be 12 weeks on Tuesday. She is growing so fast. She is getting chubby too, especially on her thighs. She smiles a lot and laughs, but when we grab the camera, she refuses to smile.
