Sunday

Well, Sunday starts a new week, right? According to Calendars, it does...

So, let's see...

We got Lily a walker. I really did not want to get one because they supposedly don't help the baby walk. I got it for her so she can move around. She almost crawling, she gets stuck in the oddest places. I figure a walker might be a better place for her. She seems to like it.

I think she is teething or something. She has been extra clingy.

We are giving our coffee table to Liz, so I laid it on its side out of the way, so we can get used to not having one. I was doing some reorganizing and cleaning. And then someone wanted to come look at the house, so I had to put the coffee table back. I doubt those people are going to buy. We did not get a phone call... it sucks. I want to say the parking and the size is the main reason we want to move. We need more space for Lily.

I think next payday, we are going to get a dining room table and start eating there instead of in front of the tv. We are also going to get rid of this huge computer desk. I just may see if I can borrow the truck from the storage rental place and put it in storage instead of throwing it out. I know Rob wants it for the next house. I just think it is so huge for the area it is in now, that people might think the house is too small.

I need to work on my card front swap. I already designed the cards, just need to pump out 17 of them. I will start that today, while Lily is napping. I also got some filing boxes so I can store my paper in a neater way.

We have been shopping around for a while, maybe a few years, I don't know. We are looking for a couch or sectional with removable cushions and a nice fabric/design. It's so hard to find what we want.

Well, the baby cries...

New day to a new year

Today is the beginning of 2010. A new year in a new decade.

Did not do much yesterday. Heck, I was laying in bed by 8pm. Tired and getting the baby to sleep.

Some of my goals for this year are to hopefully sell this house, continue being a good mommy to Lily, find a more meaningful job, and to start saving for our Alaskan cruise for our 10 year anniversary in 2011. I know it is over a year away, but those are expensive.

I am looking forward to Lily's first birthday! I will get a special cake made just for her. I don't want her eating sweets if she is not used to it. There is a bakery near by that I will see what they have to offer. By doing this I am also supporting small business in the local economy.

I hope to try to be more.... what's the word? I don't know... I will try to post at least once a week of what is going on and share photos.

I am going to work more on my crafts. Since Lily is getting older, it is a little easier in the sense that she is not attached to me, but harder since she is into everything!

So, I won't be going to nurse her during my lunch hour anymore. Just once in a while. She really does not need me to do it. And the last few times, it was very short and she wanted to go back to playing.

Since it seems like we will be in this house forever... we are going to try to utilize what little space we have. We are going to get a sectional couch and some other things. It sucks because of the economy. And the other city is offering 30k to qualified buyers in addition to the 8k... so although we have had a lot of people come look, they have gone elsewhere.
People also don't like our neighborhood. I don't know why. It may not be the prettiest, but there have not been stolen gps and other items like the so called "nice" neighborhoods.

yesterday was a lot of fun

Lily has been getting into things
Well, earlier she had managed to get stuck under a table... but alas, my camera battery was charging.
And then she got stuck under my office chair and I got a small video of her taking my chair with her as she scooted along.

Later, we got a wonderful surprise... considering, I thought we would just get rain

It Snowed!

And here is a cute pic of Lily waiting by the tree

Nine Months

Wow!
Where has the time gone?
Lily is already 9 months!
She had her appointment yesterday
She weighs 19 pounds 13.5 ounces = 70%
She is 28 1/4 inches long = 90%

I guess she is going to be a tall girl. Rob's side of the family is tall... My baby is going to tower over me... LOL

Rob has been speaking through wrapping paper tubes to Lily... since we have the paper out to wrap gifts.
Well, today, he gave her an empty tube and then she started speaking through it... it was so funny.

Later, I was on the computer and she was playing on the floor next to me. I saw that she got on her belly and was watching tv. And then she started crying. I looked and she managed to scoot backwards and got stuck under a table... sorry, I don't have a photo, since the camera battery was charging at the time. It was so funny!

Lack of motivation

I don't feel like doing anything
I need to finish up entering data at work
I will... I just don't want to

I was hoping to take Lily to her last swim class tomorrow, but I can't. Rob refuses to get in the pool and I doubt Elizabeth will do it. I am going to re-enroll her for another session of classes. She does like it.

Since it is the weekend, we will be busy working on crafts. It is hard to do things during the week. So, my goal is to do a few crafts on the weekend.
I am also going to check out the rubber stamp and paper craft fair.

... and I'm not like you...

my eyes are small, but your eyes are closed...

Just listening to my ipod... I have so much data entry to do. I can finally catch up with that now that I have finished printing and binding stuff....

This weekend is a long weekend. Columbus Day is on Monday. On Saturday I am driving up to Northern Virginia to spend the day with Jessica and then driving back on Sunday. At first Rob said we (Lily and Me) could go and then he was saying no, because he would miss us and worry about us. Now he is saying we can go. He is looking forward to having the house to himself and not having my nag him... LOL
I guess on Sunday , we'll go to the Peanut Festival.
We've lived here 8 years and have not really done anything. Now that we have Lily, I want to do more. I always wanted to do these things, but Rob is a homebody. Now he is more willing to do it.

Working on something crafty. Once it is done, I will post about it. If it is good enough, I may give it as a gift or send it down to Krys to sell in Dad's shop. He needs a website.

steak biscuit

It is Autumn and you can feel it in the air. I enjoy this time of the year. The cold brisk air, the smell of wood burning; it just makes me feel so cheery.

Rob weighed in this morning and is under his max allowable weight. We are going out to dinner tonight. I told him, he needs to lose more so that he is not stressing every six months and he agrees. He basically cut sugars, but he needs to get active too.

I am thinking my liver is acting up... I had green poo yesterday. That is a sign of either having too much fat in your diet or the bile stuff in your liver is not working correctly. Since I have not been feeling well and I have had issues with my liver before, I think that is what it is. I really need to do something. I just feel like we are in limbo because of the house being on the market. I can't really plan to do much because someone will want to look at the house and we have to get the dogs and the baby... so stressful.

We are not sure if we want to buy another house or just rent. We are not sure if we are going to get transfered anytime soon. We would like to move somewhere else... we shall see
We were thinking that if we do move somewhere with base housing, like Kodiak, where there are not many jobs, it would not matter. I would stay at home with Lily and do my crafts. I might go crazy not having adult interaction, but I'd get to spend my days with Lily.
